Jishan Stilt and Beast Show is a form of performance in the temple fair cultural activity in Yangcheng Village of Qinghe Town in Jishan County, which prevailed in the early years of Yongzheng in the Qing Dynasty and was famous for its distinct form.
The Stilt and Beast Show is composed of the beast head, beast animal body and performers. During the performance, two people walking on stilts act like riding an animal. Wild animals include some Chinese mythical animals: unicorn, Xiulang, Kylin, Ao (huge legendary turtle), Black raccoon dog tiger, Sika deer, Tapir, etc.
