Yuncheng Yanhua High School is the only public school with 12-year educational system in Yuncheng. The school has a faculty of more than 350 people, including 4 senior teachers, 47 head teachers, 1 national backbone teacher, and 4 special-level teachers. There are 90 teachers who were pubic-funded normal students. The school is equipped with first-class facilities, including high standard laboratory, computer room, recording room, and first-class library of Shanxi primary and middle schools. In recent years, it has included national defense education in teaching plan, in possession of the only national defense education showroom of Yuncheng. Its quality of education has been rising year after year, with 80% admission rate of six categories in 2018; and the reputation was greatly improved. The school has been awarded the honorary title of “Shanxi Advanced Unit of Educational System”, becoming a distinctive school in Hedong education.
